Table Lamps I Keep Coming Back To

40 table lamps I’ve already overthought for you – warm, modern, and sorted by price

We have a lot of options these days. Sometimes it’s great. Other times, it’s just…too much.

When it comes to home decor, I LOVE options. I want to see everything. I want to search all the websites. I want to go on treasure hunts in thrift stores and at garage sales. I want to compare prices, shapes, finishes, colors…everything. It’s fun for me. Relaxing, even.

Don’t give me food options, though. I don’t care. I don’t want to think about. Also, don’t ask me to pick a TV show. There are too many. Just…turn something on so I can fall asleep in 20 minutes.

When people come to me for home decor help, it’s not because they want more options, it’s because they want fewer. They’re looking for a rug or a paint color, and the entire internet exists. So many options. What they want is for me to narrow it down to a few that will actually work in their space, and eliminate the rest of the noise.

Today we’re going to eliminate some noise by rounding up some of my favorite table and desk lamps. There are 40 of them below, broken down by price, so you don’t have to look at the entire internet. I know 40 is still a lot of options…but in my defense, this could have been a much longer list.

My style leans modern with an earthy, vintage feel. I like to call it “warm modern”. If that sounds like your style, you’re in a good place.

Hopefully one of those lamps caught your eye. If I had to choose one, my personal favorite is the Butler lamp from West Elm. It’s handsome, timeless, and would look great in any home. It looks like it smells like dusty old books and your grandfather’s tobacco pipe, and I love that.

Up next, we’ll be rounding up floor lamps. Because there’s no such thing as too many lamps. That’s like saying you can own too many blankets. Or earrings. It’s just not possible.
